Nema asked me why this election is so important for us and our families?
We have to look at the foundations that have made this country so great. These foundations can be found in the historical participation of the American electorate throughout the last two centuries. We are a nation of immigrants and as such have and should continue contributing to the American experience and democracy by exercising our right and freedom to vote. It is by voting that we are legitimizing our institutions and thus contributing to better and safer neighborhoods, cleaner, well lighted streets for our children and families.
